Funding is needed to cover the following costs:

Regional Dance America Festival -  $8,000

Lorraine Cranford Summer Dance Workshop - $10,500
This one-week residential workshop offers dance students an opportunity to be exposed to professionals without leaving the state of Arkansas.  It is opened to anyone with two-years dance experience.

Instructors - $5,000
Scholarships - $5,000
Publicity - $500

Girls, Inc. Dance Education Program - $1,250
Offers young women who are enrolled in the Girls Club Summer program, a full-week of dance instruction. The program is free of charge to the Club.

Company Pointe Shoe Fund - $6,250
This fund provides the Western Arkansas Ballet company with pointe shoes for practicing and performing.  125 pointe shoes @ approx. $50/pair

Area Preschools Dance Education Program - $1,250
Offers dance opportunities for 3-5 year-old children through preschool classes

Choreography (2 choreographers @ $1500) - $3,000
Choreographers are brought in each August and/or January to choreograph for the Western Arkansas Ballet company.  These pieces are performed for the Fort Smith Community and at RDA/SW Festival.

Fund Raiser:  Tennis Tournament - $3,000
Covers the expenses of publicity, supplies, t-shirts, and administrative.

Capital Improvement Fund - $100,000
